Babes on Waves with Belinda Baggs

Belinda Baggs - the ladysliding goddess from Newcastle, Australia - defines surfing style. Known for her grace in the water, we envy how much time Belinda has spent on the nose. We had the opportunity to speak with Belinda at the “Babes on Waves” event hosted by Patagonia Santa Monica. Chatting about waves and boards and the environment, we learned very quickly how wonderful Belinda is. Before the event, Belinda gave us some tips about noseriding and single fin options; her love of the ocean and surfing shines through when she speaks and you can feel her passion laden with every word. Belinda describes her surfing experiences as a deep connection, an addiction, transcendent - she really speaks our language. The photo above has inspired all of us at Seadom for many years and to be able to speak with our hero was quite extraordinary.
